Educational leaders using blogs
The blog scheme is been growing from a mere page with statements and responses to a website look where pictures, videos, and a wide variety of editing tools can be use to produce a high quality website. I have seen leaders use their blogs as tools to disseminate their knowledge to their peers, also to have forums to respond to certain problems, set agendas or timelines to a project, in addition blog site can be personalized to communicate better the values and interest of the leader/communicator.
Different members groups can meet in the blog to learn from each other as a Professional Learning Communities (PLC), link to other PLC’s. In addition, a source of literature reference can be added as recommended readings or links to suggested readings. By using the RSS feed feature members could be aware of instant communication that the team members want to communicate.
