This week, becoming aware of main topics action researches have been focusing on such as the nine areas which include -Staff development--Curriculum development-Individual teacher(s)- Individual student(s)-School culture/community-Leadership-Management-School performance-Social justice or equity issues made me reflect on the burning question that I have on some of them. Later the process of a action research starts with a learning the attitude toward an active seeking of change (Dana, 2009). Some of the researches have reassured me that action research is more important than tradition research because it pertains to the particular interest of the practitioner and the particular characteristics of the educational environment they live in. Such is the one Principal from Rancho Isabella Elementary, Johnny Briseno with his dissertation “THE EFFECTIVE PRACTICES AND BELIEFS OF SCHOOL PRINCIPALS IN HIGH ACHIEVING HISPANIC MAJORITY MID-LEVEL SCHOOLS” (Briseno, 2010)
